This year Professor Trevor Cox tested a selection of acoustic materials in the acoustic laboratory at The University of Salford The article was published in the July 2015 edition of Sound on Sound Magazine pages 100 - 108.
We sent our 50mm RPG Absorber which we manufacture in Kent and an additional product which we also sell, Profoam - both products were sent along to be tested and a preview of the article can be read here
Earlier this year, we were delighted to assist with the finishing touches to help community project ‘A Small Cinema Liverpool’ achieve their vision in creating a public cinema.
A Small Cinema was created with the help of volunteers to build a fully functioning screening space with raked seating and original cinema seats. As well as volunteers, a host of companies donated much needed furniture and materials. We were delighted to supply bespoke acoustic Grey RPG Absorbers for the walls to match the cinema décor and to improve the room’s acoustics.
The cinema met it’s opening deadline and had a successful launch night. Since then, the cinema has an incredible screening line up, focusing on local film writers screenings and major films - check out all the events
